Day 14 - Hamilton
This week's walk was quite different. The Niagara escarpment goes right through southern Hamilton, and so does the Bruce trail. Part of it is along a nice flat paved rail trail.
But just when we thought we were in for an easy walk we came upon the first of several sets of stairs to take us from the bottom of the escarpment to the top.
And ofcourse in Covid times we had to get out our masks to take the stairs.
Part of the trail showed off impressive natural beauty.
and then it started to get more metropolitan
Before we knew it, we were on a city sidewalk
and then back into nature. Lots of variety on this week's walk. It was interesting, but soon we will be into Dundas Valley Conservation area, with a lot less concrete and more nature. Can't wait!
